We have a dedicated team of volunteers who ensure the smooth running of our charity shop.

This month we would like to introduce you to....
Jo
Jo works in the shop on a Wednesday and Thursday. She started working in the shop before it opened by helping with the decorating, cleaning, stocking etc and she has been there ever since following a career in nursing. She enjoys meeting the customers and helping them find what they are looking for. Jo was recruited by Ann Tucker a trustee and founder member of Jeremiah's Journey.

Children we help
Tom, aged 6, knew his daddy was poorly. One day he returned home from school to be told that daddy had died. Tom found it hard to understand what had happened to his dad. in the following weeks his teacher noticed that he was more angry than usual and fighting with his classmates. Tom came to a group and through meeting other children who had experienced something similar felt less alone. He also found a way to express his feelings which helped with his anger.
