On Friday 8th April avid supporters the Viking Hikings (Rosie, Russell, Graham and George) organised a Race Night at the Mount Pleasant pub with the help of the Landlord Mick.  Punters placed their bets on horse and dog races whilst enjoying a tasty curry.  Later on in the evening people tried their luck in the raffle.  The evening was a great success and was one of many events that the Viking Hikings have organised.  Join them for the Booze Cruise on Sat 11th June.

Children we help

Tom, aged 6, knew his daddy was poorly. One day he returned home from school to be told that daddy had died. Tom found it hard to understand what had happened to his dad. in the following weeks his teacher noticed that he was more angry than usual and fighting with his classmates. Tom came to a group and through meeting other children who had experienced something similar felt less alone. He also found a way to express his feelings which helped with his anger.
