Remembering at Special Times
You will always remember the special person to you who died but there may be some important occasions where you may want time to think about them. Here are some ideas of activities to do:
- At Christmas time you could make your own special decoration to go on the Christmas tree. You can get a big bauble and then decorate it, glitter glue is best but remember to keep it still until the glue has dried else it goes all runny!
- On your Birthday or the special person who died's Birthday you could attach a message to a helium balloon. You could choose some flower's and take them to the grave or a favourite place that you used to go with your loved one.
- If it is the anniversary, that is the day that the person died, then you could light a candle together with your family and have a quiet time to think about them.
- On Mother's Day or Father's Day you can still make a card if you want to and then take it to the grave or put it up in your house or in your memory box.
These are just a few of our ideas, there may be other things that you would like to do on other important dates.
