Aims:
To develop an understanding of how children grieve and develop ideas and confidence for supporting them.
Have an understanding of the impact of death of someone special on children
Gain an insight into children’s experiences of grief and the impact of different ages and stages in development on this process.
Ideas of how to communicate with bereaved children and a consideration of their needs.
Be informed about the work of Jeremiah’s Journey and take away ideas for your own work.
Receive information about further useful resources.

Suitable for professionals who may come into contact with bereaved children and their families or those who wish to know more.
Made to Measure:
We can also provide ‘made to measure’ teaching sessions in your workplace. We are happy to come out to you and provide a session to meet your needs. In the past we have talked at school staff meetings and taken part in CPD training for a variety of professionals from Health, Social Care and Education. We are happy to be flexible about time and content of your sessions from spending half an hour showing how we work or answering questions to running longer, structured sessions as part of more broader courses.
